Why The Cornhole Game Is
Sweeping The Nation
Cornhole is thought to have originated in Germany during the
14th century. Then it’s believed that it was rediscovered in
Kentucky about a century ago. Cornhole is a great game that
involves bags and a platform that has a hole in
the middle.
The object of the game of bean bags is to be the first to score 21
points. To do this players stand by their platforms which
are about 30 feet apart. Every time a corn bag is thrown
into the hole the player(s) who threw the bag is awarded 3
points. If the bag lands on the platform then 1 point is
awarded.
Cornhole is also known by many other names. These names
include: Corn Toss, Bean Toss, Soft Horseshoes, Indiana
Horseshoes, and Bag Toss. Cornhole resembles the game of
horseshoes but it doesn’t requite metal spikes and horseshoes
that can be dangerous if they hit someone. No, all Cornhole
requires is the platforms with holes and nice soft bags of
corn. Therefore the game is very family friendly and can be
played just about anywhere at anytime.
Cornhole is easy to bring anywhere and anyone can play it.
Unlike horseshoes, which are heavy, the bags of corn are light
and easy to be thrown. So just about anyone – young and old-
can enjoy a game of Cornhole.
It's is a great game that is fun for anyone to play,
anywhere, at just about anytime. It’s very similar to the game
of horseshoes but it requires less physical exertion and it’s
much safer to play. Cornhole is a great activity that can be
played with just two people or many people in a tournament
setting.
We are going to have a lot of different articles on this
